A NEW KIND OF DANCE TEAM
Founded in 2024 by director Allison Vittorioso, Team Atlantic is a competitive dance team built around one radical idea: student choreography drives the work.
Dancers come from studios across the region and perform multiple routines — some choreographed by the dancers themselves, others by Allison. Every member is hand-selected at events or nominated by past team members, chosen for musicality, technique, stage presence, and the way they command a room.
The result is a team that competes at the highest level while giving its dancers the rarest gift in this industry: real creative ownership.
THE PROGRAM
Four pillars run through every rehearsal, every piece, every competition weekend.
Dancers develop original work with mentorship — cleaned, staged, and taken to competition.
Weekly across-styles training keeps every dancer performance-ready and injury-aware.
We travel to major East Coast conventions for classes, scholarships, and stage time.
6–10 regional and national events per year, with a headline showcase to close.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Allison built such a safe, welcoming environment that a room full of teens gelled almost instantly and performed like they'd been dancing together for years. That doesn't happen by accident; that's the caliber of her teaching. We're counting down to the next season.

FAQ
Do dancers need to leave their home studio?
No. Team Atlantic is designed to complement your studio, not replace it. Most of our dancers train competitively elsewhere and add Team Atlantic on top.
How are dancers selected?
Allison scouts personally at conventions, competitions, and workshops. Current members can also nominate dancers. Formal auditions are invite-only.
What's the time commitment?
One primary team rehearsal per week, plus small-group calls and competition/convention weekends throughout the season (roughly Sept – June).
Where are rehearsals held?
At partner studios across the East Coast. Location details are shared with members after roster placement.
Is there tuition?
Yes — season fees cover coaching, choreography, costuming, and event entries. Details are shared during the audition process.
